There are three Oregon cities that provide convenient, direct air service to and from the Los Angeles area.
Medford Airport

The airport in Eugene, Oregon’s central city and second largest metropolitan area, has three northbound and three southbound non-stop flights between LA and Eugene.

Portland Airport
Portland’s International Airport has approximately 30 direct flights each day. These flights are serviced by United, Delta, and Alaska Air. Many other flights are available to the LA area with stops in Oakland, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.

There are “Fixed-based” operators at each airport where a flight can be chartered to almost any location within the state. Currently the flight time to the coast from these airports can be as little as 20 minutes, depending on where you are flying. In addition to being able to charter flights to the coast, it’s possible to make flight arrangements to the east side of the state. Flights to the Bend area can take as little as 45 minutes from the Eugene airport.

Insurance
All Federal, State, and community agencies/organizations within Oregon require production companies to provide a certificate of insurance prior to filming within their jurisdiction. The production company must maintain minimum liability coverage of $1 million, naming the agency/organization and its employees as additionally insured. A hold harmless clause is also required.
