List Your Property

We maintain an extensive photo file library of various locations throughout Oregon. The files are listed in our database under categories such as:

  • Cities
  • Towns and Communities
  • Commercial and Retail
  • Public, Government and Municipal Structures
  • Educational and Religious Buildings
  • Industrial
  • Agricultural, Ranches and Farms
  • Parks and Recreational Areas
  • Transportation
  • Water and Coastal
  • Landscapes
  • Residential

We often receive calls from people who would like to have their property on file to be considered as a possible filming location. We welcome these submissions. The more locations we are able to show to a production company, the greater the possibility that film will choose to shoot in Oregon.

What we need from you

All we need are some photographs of the property and a brief description, including contact and access information. If you would like to have a home or other structure included, please be sure to include interior as well as exterior photographs. We’ve gone “digital” with our photo files to more efficiently provide location information. We are happy to receive your information by email or post.

How your property is chosen

Location scouts are usually hired in advance of a production coming into the state. They will have more detailed information of the project and may call a property owner to request permission to take additional photographs of the property. The photographs are used only for the production company to determine the feasibility of locations. They are interested in the “look” of the space and to get an idea if there is enough room for lighting equipment and other technical gear. If your location is approved there may be additional visits by the director or other company personnel. A representative of the company would then contact you to make final arrangements.

What to expect if your property is chosen

"Lights, Camera, Locations" is a brochure created by our office to help guide you through the negotiation process when a company is considering using your property for production use.
